Your parents are visiting — put it on film

When you live abroad, your parents visit once a year, sometimes less. The photos you have together are usually a couple of café selfies. A self-portrait studio gives you an hour to shoot everyone at once: you, your parents, the children, the grandparents.

Book a session

Older relatives are often self-conscious in front of a lens. Here there is no stranger in the room — only family, light and a button. You can laugh, hug and reshoot until you get the frame that goes on the wall.

An idea

  1. Print one photo straight away and give it to your parents before they fly home

Frequently asked questions

My parents hate cameras — will this work?

Usually yes. Without a stranger in the room the tension goes in the first few minutes, and you can reshoot as often as you like.

How many generations fit?

Up to five people comfortably, which covers three generations.

Should I book in advance?

Yes, especially if your parents are only in town for a few days. Slots fill about a week ahead.
